International Conference on Schizophrenia (IConS) is a forum
where researchers from all over the world meet to lecture and
discuss developments in the field of Schizophrenia and related
areas. The overall emphasis of the conference is, how research
in Schizophrenia influences clinical practice.
IConS had a hugely successful beginning in 2004. Since then, this biennial conference has become an important event for both experienced and young mental health researchers. The conference comprises of plenary and symposia sessions, workshops and panel discussions where reputed professionals are invited to talk on their work.
Encouraging research in mental health professionals is our main agenda. Awards such as ‘The Best Poster Award’ and ‘The Young Researcher Award’ encourages and promotes the young and talented researchers.
IConS provides an arena for listening, learning and debating on various important themes related to Schizophrenia or to broader issues of Mental Health and illness.
